Everything Eleanor

I got to stamp this morning!  I went to our group meeting, where we made 20 cards with four different new catalog stamp sets.  My upline, Janice, was so good to us.  Not only did she design and cut all the supplies for all 20 cards, but she also did all of the stamping ahead of time.  She was worried we wouldn't have enough time to finish otherwise.  Whew!  That was a lot of work for her, and I know I really appreciated it.

So I wanted to share some of the Everything Eleanor stamp set cards with you.

Stamps: Everything Eleanor (#124162 wood mount $36.95; #124164 clear mount $26.95)
Tea Shoppe (greeting) (#125545 wood mount $34.95, #125547 clear mount $27.95)
Ink: Wisteria Wonder
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade, Very Vanilla, In-Color Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Basic Pearls, Decorative Label punch, Large Oval punch, Extra Large Oval punch, Sponge

This card is actually very easy to make, but it packs a "wow" factor
because of the special fold and the removable belly band.

Stamps: Everything Eleanor (#124162 wood mount $36.95; #124164 clear mount $26.95)
Fabulous Phrases (#117002 wood $37.95, #120501 clear $26.95)
Ink: Calypso Coral
Paper: Calypso Coral, Very Vanilla, In-Color Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Victoria Crochet Trim Ribbon, Dimensionals, Basic Pearls, Sponge,
Word Window punch, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch

I will be sharing more samples over the next week or two, so be sure to check back.  Are you getting excited to see what else is in the new catalog?  You'll be able to see it online and place orders starting June 1st.  If you'd like your own copy of the new catalog, drop me an email at StamperNan at gmail.com.

Remember there are still retiring stamps and accessories to be had until May 31st (accessories available only while supplies last).  Check out the selection here (click on Retiring Products on the left).

Friday's Jumble

Happy Happy Friday!  Don't know about you, but this has been a long week for me.  So happy it's Friday AND we have plans for the weekend.  Today I'm showing you the last of the jumble of retiring stamp set samples.  Enjoy!

Heard from the Heart
A set of four phrases for popular occasions that have enough weight to act as a focal point.

Medallion
Lots of people are going to miss this beauty.
(Luckily, it's still available for My Digital Studio)

Pendant Park
So this was one of my favorite sets when it debuted,
and I STILL never bought it!
That kind of craziness ends this year.
(Goodbye, Pendant Park, I hardly knew ye.)

Sincere Salutations
One of my go-to sets....it has eight greetings to cover almost any occasion.
The perfect set for stampers just starting out.

Sincere Salutations (with Baroque Motifs)
Both are retiring.  This card shows that you don't have to have
Christmas-specific stamp sets to make Christmas cards!

Less than 3 weeks left to get your favorite retiring stamps sets, and remember that retiring accessories are only while supplies last.  You can view all of the retiring items here (click on Retiring Products on the left).  For your convenience, you can place your order while you're on my website & have it delivered right to your door.

Thursday's Jumble

Yes, today is a jumble of retiring stamp set samples.  I've shared all the groups I have from single sets, so now you can feast your eyes on some individual ideas.

All in the Family
This sample's a bit of a cheat - it's actually the vinyl version of this stamp set
on display at Convention.  But, hey, that's retiring too!

Baroque Motifs
So sad to see this go.  That swirl was my go-to stamp for lots of projects.

Christmas Postcard
I loved this single stamp from the first time I saw it,
but I was intimidated thinking I'd have to color the whole thing every time.
Not so!  Just a little color really takes care of this one.

Elegant Thank You
Another great single stamp to have in your repetoire.
We all need thank you cards so often.

Elizabeth
Yet another single stamp - this elaborate frame stamp coordinates with many of our
oval stamps and punches.

As always, you can see all the retiring items here (click on Retiring Products on the left).  Remember to check out the Clearance Rack while you're there.

See you soon,

Sweet Season - never to early to start planning

Good Monday morning to you all!  Today I have a quick post to show you another retiring winter season set.  Sweet Season is perfect for making Christmas cards, but it can also be used for many other winter-themed projects.

Here are some samples to drool over:

This first sample was a Make & Take at Convention quite a few years ago.  Here's the outside.

And when you remove the "belly band" and open it up,
you see an ornament stamp from Tree Trimmings (also retiring).

These tags were made at the same Conventions.
This set works perfectly with the Two Tags die for the Big Shot,
plus it coordinates with several of our punches.

This card was made at one of my Christmas Card Classes a couple of years ago.
The snowflakes are stamped with our Whisper White Craft Pad,
and some of them are embossed with white embossing powder,
giving them some added depth.

I hope you enjoyed today's samples.  (The last card also has a greeting from Sincere Salutations, which is also retiring.)  You can see all the retiring items here (click on Retiring Products on the left).

Remember our new, fully customizable Starter Kit is now available.  Click here for more information.

I'm getting excited for the new Stampin' Up! Catalog - are you?!

Upsy Daisy and a New Starter Kit!

Before I show you some retiring samples, I want to share something new.  Stampin' Up! has made some exciting changes to the Starter Kit.  You can now join the SU family for only $99!  And the new kit is totally customizable...meaning YOU pick the products you want.  Get all the details here.

And now on to some pretties. :)

Fun and easy flowers.  You can make these multi-colored with markers, sponge daubers,
or pastels.  See?  Fun and easy.

It looks like these flowers may have been misted with water before stamping.
Perfectly accented with the polka dot butterfly from the retiring
Flight of the Butterfly stamp set.

And this one was stamped twice.  First in a lighter color,
then in a slightly darker color and slightly offset.

Remember you can see all the retiring products here (click on Retiring Products on the left).

Dasher - dashing out of the catalog

Welcome back.  Today we're saying a fond farewell to Dasher.  This is one of our A la Carte stamps - it's not part of a set, but is sold singly.  Again - it's such a versatile stamp.  I know I say that a lot, but I guess that's because Stampin' Up! designs a lot of versatile stamps! :)  My Dasher stamp has seen an abundance of ink over the years, so he's probably happy to be retiring so he can get some rest. :-D

Here are some samples to drool over:

Dasher really lends himself to be inked up with Stampin' Write markers.
Here the artist inked up the antlers with Real Red and the body in Chocolate Chip.

One of my favorite color combinations is red with a light/medium blue, like we see here.
Here Dasher is stamped on some retired Designer Series Paper that has the look of
the Emboss Resist technique.  Notice the little bird that the artist has perched on Dasher's antlers.

Speaking of Emboss Resist, Dasher is a great stamp for that, since it's a silhouette stamp.

Dash also works great with our heat embossing powders - here the artist used silver.
The silver/navy/white color combo is a holiday classic.

And Dasher also looks great just stamped straight in one color.
He can hold his own as a focal point.

This was one of the cards we made at my Christmas Card Camps last year.
Dasher is embossed in white on Night of Navy card stock.
If you look closely, you can see the paper piercing in the lower right corner of the white.

Again, here Dasher is inked in one color as a focal point.
I offset the focal layer and added texture to the background.

As always, you can see all the retiring items through my online store here (click on Retiring Products on the left).  You can also purchase items from the Clearance Rack or any other products with your retiring items.  Remember, stamps are available until May 31st, but all other Retiring Products are available only while supplies last.  So get your favorites now!

Tree Trimmings

And the parade of retiring stamp sets continues!  How about a little Christmas?  The Tree Trimmings stamp set has been one of my most used holiday sets.  Here are a few examples:

One of my favorite cards, and it's so easy with this set.  The string for the ornaments
is a separate stamp.  So you can easily stamp the ornament and string different colors.
The Big Shot and Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder add oomph to the background.

These ornaments are embossed, then I added a little color with a Stampin' Write marker.

Here's a twist...cut the ornaments out to make a fun topiary!

This is a striking card, but it's so simple.
Stamp the ornaments, wrap a little ribbon, add a torn card stock layer,
and voila!

Another easy option...helped along with the Scallop Square punch
and the Big Shot and Top Note die.

And finally, more embossed ornaments with color added with our Stampin' Write markers.
So fun to use non-traditional colors on Christmas cards.

You can see all the retiring stamp sets and other products through my online store here (click Retiring Products on the left).  You can place your order right on the store and have it shipped right to your door.

Awash with Flowers Samples

I'm back with samples from another retiring stamp set - Awash with Flowers.  This is a great two-step stampin' set.  That means it includes solid and outline images, so you can stamp the outline in a dark color then stamp the "fill in" solid image in a lighter color.  It's a very easy way to get the multi-color look.

Once again, these are not my creations.  They may be Make & Takes from events I attended or displays from the events.  If you see your work here, please let me know so I can give proper credit.

I love this card.  We made it at a group meeting last year.
The outline for the flower was stamped in Basic Gray (I believe) and
the solid was stamped in More Mustard on Whisper White card stock.
Then we sponged over the flower with So Saffron, giving the flower a two-tone look.

Another card from a group meeting.  Here you can see that the solid images
aren't meant to perfectly line up with the outline.  This actually makes
this set very easy to work with, since you don't have to worry about getting it lined up just so.

And here's a great sample of the other main flower image from this set.
If you like flowers, this is really one of the best flower sets I've worked with.

A little housekeeping - there were two items listed on the Retiring Accessories list in error.  The Craft Scissors (#108360) and the Paper Snips (#103579) are not retiring.  Whew!  Here are links to all the retiring lists again:

Retiring Accessories (while supplies last)

Retiring Definitely Decorative (while supplies last)

As always, you can view images of all the retiring items on my website here (click Retiring Products on the left).

Remember that the stamps are available until May 31st, but the accessories and decorative items are only available while supplies last (up until May 31st).  When you place an order through my website, you'll be able to tell if the items you want are still available.  Plus it's quick, easy, & delivered right to your door!
